Day 1: Arrival in Florence Airport

Transfer from Florence Airport to Florence

Day 2

Florence Guided tour

Visit the splendid Duomo crowned with the magnificent Brunelleschi dome, the Baptistery, Giotto's Bell Tower, Piazza Della Signoria, the Academia Museum, and the enchanting Piazzale Michelangelo.

 

Day 3

Lucca and Pisa Guided Tour

One of Italy's finest mediaeval treasures, the centre is relatively unspoilt and is sprinkled with palazzi, towers and almost countless splendid churches.

 

 

Day 4

Morning: Siena Guided Tour

Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, Siena is one of the most beautiful cities of Tuscany. Piazza Del Campo stands at its heart; the Duomo and St Maria della Scala serve as additional cultural landmarks.

   

Afternoon: San Gimignano visit and Wine Tasting Tour

One of the most charming and picturesque of all the Tuscan hill towns, San Gimignano is noted mainly for its medieval towers. A visit to the vineyards of a local vinery for a Wine Tasting Tour.

 

Day 5

Cortona  Etruscan Museum

Cortona's medieval streets are pleasant to wander and you'll be rewarded with fabulous views of the countryside along the medieval town walls. Cortona has remnants of its pre-Roman Etruscan past.

 

Day 6

Morning: Perugia Guided Tour

Perugia was among the most important cities of the Etruscans. The town dominates the Tiber Valley from a high, irregular and rough hill.

   

Afternoon: Assisi Visit

The town of Assisi which takes its name from Mount Asi, on which it is situated, lies in the centre of the province of Umbria, about halfway between the cities of Perugia and Foligno, and 41 miles north of Rome.

 

Day 7

Morning: Gubbio Guided Tour

Today Gubbio represents the compact masterpiece of medieval civilization. Gubbio has been defined "the most beautiful medieval city" of Europe.

 

   

Afternoon: Castel of Magione and Wine Tasting Tour

Dated back to 1150-1170, the Castle was a shelter for pilgrims going to Rome or to the Jerusalem. Its farm covers an area of 1325 hectares and the vineyards are placed in the DOC district of "Trasimeno hills".

 

Day 8

Morning: Bevagna Guided Tour

The little walled city of Bevagna is one of the most attractive places of central Umbria, in the plain of the Topino River about 8 km W of Foligno.

   

Afternoon: Trevi Visit

The town, which enjoys a spectacular view of the surrounding Umbrian countryside, sits above the flood plain of the Clitunno River on the steep lower skirts of Mount Serano.

 

Day 9

Chiusi Etruscan Tombs and Museum

The lowlands around Chiusi are a treasure trove of tombs for Etruscan civilization. The Etruscan Museum of Chiusi is one of the most important repositories of Etruscan remains in Italy.

 

Day 10
