This tour will take you
through the Lake District of Lake Como and Lake Maggiore
with their many historic
cities which abound with seminal art and architecture. You

Morning: Bellagio at
Leisure
Bellagio a well-known tourist location and elegant
health resort situated at the top of the headland
that divides Lake Como in two (the west branch
towards Como and the east branch towards Lecco).

in 1808 by Giocondo
Albertolli, for
Francesco Melzi d'Eril,
on a promontory on Lake
Como. The Garden include
Japanese maples,
American redwoods,
rhododendrons and
azaleas.

The splendid gardens on the promontory are the perfect
place to take the pictures of the most important day in
your life. Villa del Balbianello has something special

The Castle or Rocca Borromeo of Angera, an unusual
example of a completely preserved medieval fortified
building, rises on a spur of
calcareous rock that dominates
the southern part of Lake Maggiore.

camellia blossoms but also for the pergolas of ancient
wisteria, for the Cashmere Cyprus
and for the espaliers of citrons and lemons.

along the shores of Lake Maggiore.
A mountain sequence encloses the
lake basin; dominating this landscape is the huge Alpine
chain of Monte Rosa that reach over 4000 metres in height.
