Garda...whose long finger penetrates the Italian Alps. The

Then, leave the square and crowds behind to discover the

Vicenza is famous for its art, refined architecture,

Verona - Malcesine - Bardolino - Verona

Malcesine
Malcesine
is a town with two faces: one historical, with the Della
Scala castle, palaces and small churches; the other
naturalistic, wonderfully represented by the enchanting
landscape of Mount Baldo.

Afternoon:
Bardolino
Wine Route
The Bardolino Wine Route runs
along the east shore of Lake Garda from Peschiera in the
south to Garda and Albaré in the north.
We will visit a local vintage for a taste of their
Bardolino wine.
Late afternoon return to Verona.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

6: Verona - Marostica - Bassano - Treviso

Morning:
Marostica
Two fortified walls start from the upper castle; they
embrace the whole old town centre and meet lower down in
the lower Castle. The borgo of Giara was originally the
centre of Marostica.

Afternoon:
Bassano del Grappa
One of
the most characteristic places in Veneto, its historical
centre is a series of alleyways, small squares, arcades,
frescoed houses, and Renaissance palaces.
Late afternoon transfer to Treviso.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Buffet breakfast.
Spend the morning on a Guided walking tour of the
historic centre. Behind the heavy gates of villas and
palaces, under the porticos and in the gardens, here
there is a sense of distinction and refinement.
